Family Engagement Sessions

Please Note: These sessions are for families who have members with SEND or physical disabilities and are to enable us to enhance our sessions for everyone.

Trafford Watersports Centre is going through a period of change to ensure we are as accessible to as many people as possible and bring adventures to all. 

As part of our development we are looking to gain important feedback by working with families in the local area through our Family Engagement sessions. As part of this session, not only will you be only to have a taste of the water sports we have on offer, you will also be a valued voice in providing feedback to the centre staff and letting us know what you want to see to ensure your experience is as positive as possible. 

The event dates and times are listed below as a starting point and if these sessions are a success we will add on more!

Event Dates:

• Sunday 21st July 2024
• Saturday 27th July 2024
• Sunday 4th August 2024

Time Slots:

• 10.45 am
• 12.00 pm

Group Sizes:

• We know families come in all shapes and sizes so please read below for if you have more or less participants than the 4 mentioned.
• Less than 4 people: please book your session as normal, but please be aware the price will not change.
• More than 4 people: please contact the team at [email protected] and we can assist you. 

Things to consider:

• The price is £88 for the 1-hour session and is for 4 people as standard.
• Before attending, each participant must have filled out a consent form.
• No previous experience is necessary.
• These sessions will have 2 instructors to ensure maximum comfort for you and your family.
• As our centre is under development, we will require a family member to help with any wheelchair assistance including transition from wheelchair to boat.
